End of Year Wrap – 2017

30 Dec End of Year Wrap – 2017

It’s been quite a year here at Surf Snowdonia.

From welcoming some of the world’s most elite athletes – Jordy Smith and Nico Von Lerchenfeld rank amongst them – to helping Scottish surfer Matthew Bryce back on his surf board for the first time since he was lost at sea for 32 hours, we’ve had some pretty intense and memorable sessions on our waves.

Hosting the first ever inland Help for Heroes Adaptive Surf Competition was pure joy,  as was welcoming the UK Pro Surf Tour back for the second year running. And it has been amazing to watch the progress of our local Community Surf Club kids who use our waves free-of-charge every Saturday morning – what a great bunch of surf dudes they are.

There have been so many highs to this year, and this weekend we’ll be raising a glass to some very happy memories. Thanks to everyone who has been part of them. See you for more adventures in 2018.

Check out our highlights of the year on our end of year wrap, below.
