13 Jun Danny Rampling heads up milestone Future Funk party at Electric Wave!
We are so excited about this one: Ibiza pioneer and founder of London’s first ever Balearic rave night Shoom is bringing the party to Electric Wave! DJ Danny Rampling will head up our big birthday bash celebrating 20 years of Future Funk – taking place as part of our Electric Wave Festival on Saturday 28th July.
Future Funk was a HUGE house music night for North Wales and regularly raised the roof at Time nightclub in Bangor as well as hosting sellout shows at venues across the UK and in Ibiza. We reckon it deserves a bit of a special party to mark its 20th…
Danny will be joined by a host of talent at this milestone birthday celebration, including Future Funk founders Dave Draig Goch and Mike Herdman, as well as Ed Mackie, Anthony Probyn and Conwy Valley’s very own rising star Hollie Profit.
Expect a night packed full of up-tempo crowd pleasers celebrating the best of the last two decades of house. DO NOT MISS THIS!
Danny’s long career began in the early 1980s playing hip-hop, soul and funk around numerous bars and clubs in London. He was Radio 1 DJ alongside Carl cox, Pete Tong and Judge Jules, and the first winner of the No 1 DJ in the World Award by DJ Magazine in 1991.
