Our Official Charity Partners

Surf Snowdonia is proud to officially support five brilliant charities: Help for Heroes, RNLI, Surfers against Sewage, The Wave Project & Dyffryn Valley Surf Club.

All of these charities do amazing work with diverse groups of people both locally in North Wales and across the UK.

Help for Heroes

Help for Heroes regularly visits Surf Snowdonia with groups of former service men and women who use surf therapy to help them recover from mental and physical challenges and injuries.

The RNLI has been saving lives at sea and on inland waterways in the UK since 1824. It operates a UK-wide lifeboat and search and rescue service, lifeguards, water safety education and initiatives, and flood rescue response.

Surfers against Sewage

Surfers against Sewage (SAS) is an environmental charity which campaigns to protect the UK’s oceans, waves and beaches via environmental initiatives and community events.

The Wave Project

The Wave Project uses surfing as a tool to help vulnerable children and young people to overcome anxiety and improve their emotional health. It offers sessions at Surf Snowdonia for young people living in North Wales.

Dyffryn Valley Surf Club

The Dyffryn Valley Surf Club offers affordable and inclusive surfing opportunities for young people living in the Conwy Valley area. As well as learning how to surf, its members learn about water safety and beach lifeguarding. They can work towards qualifications which could lead to employment at Surf Snowdonia or elsewhere.

Charity donations

We are committed to working with charities as much as we possibly can and we applaud the extremely valuable work that so many fundraisers do to help those in need.

We get a lot of requests to support different charities every week, and regrettably we can’t respond to them all individually. Instead, we have pledged to donate two Surf Snowdonia vouchers per month to two different charity applications. If you would like to be considered for this month’s charity vouchers, please email us with the following details:

Terms & Conditions

You must provide proof that you are acting on behalf of a recognised charity/organisation.
Only online applications will be considered. Postal, social media and any other applications will not be accepted.
We will inform the successful charities within the first week of the month after they make their application.
Should you not hear back from us within this time frame please assume your application has not been successful on this occasion. But do feel free to apply again!

Good luck, and good fundraising!
